Why do some of my returns have the numeric value "1120 US 2" after the entity type?
Answer
The numeric value signifies the tax year end is a fiscal year end return. The "2" in the value indicates the return has a February year end. This is to accommodate more than one return in a tax year, such as two short year returns.
