Send Onvio Tax project to Onvio support

While troubleshooting with Onvio Tax support, we may request you send the Onvio Tax project data. All personally identifiable information is masked and protected when sending Onvio Tax project data to support. 

  1. Open the Onvio Tax project.
  2. Select Actions, then Send Project to Onvio Support.
  3. Mark the checkbox to acknowledge and agree to our Privacy Statement.
  4. Choose Yes, compose email.

    Note: If using live chat or your email client doesn't support this option, select Yes, copy to clipboard and manually paste it in the chat or in an email to your support representative.

  5. Send the generated email to the address provided by your support representative.

    Note: The generated email contains 4 IDs necessary for support to retrieve your project data.

Receiving Onvio Tax projects via Copy Tool

  1. Once the email is received, open the Copy Tool.
  2. Select the Domain (onvio.Us) and enter the 4 IDs from the client email, under Source Login.
  3. Select the Domain (onvio.us) and enter your login credentials for the Onvio database you use for troubleshooting.
  4. Select Login.
  5. Select Copy in the lower left of the Copy Tool.

    Note: After a few seconds you will get a successful copy alert. 

  6. To open the copied and masked project, select the project from the Projects grid.  

    Note: This process masks any and all personally identifiable information within the project.
