Add a relationship

Before you start

Make sure you're assigned to a permission group that has Contacts enabled.

Add relationships

You can add contacts as relationships to clients, such as spouses, legal representatives, and tax matters contacts.

Business clients do not have access to Onvio Center. You need to add a relationship with the contact who should have access to the client in Onvio Center.

When any relationship is added, the inverse relationship is automatically added to the related contact. For example, if you list a contact as the Preferred contact of a business, the contact will show on the business as the Preferred contact.

  1. In Onvio Center select Setup, then All Contacts.
  2. Select the contact, then select Edit .
  3. Select the Relationships tab.
  4. Select Add.
  5. Choose the relationship.
  6. Select an existing contact or enter new information for the contact.
  7. Select Save when you're finished.
