Edit a project for a client

Before you start

Make sure you're assigned to a permission group that has Projects enabled.

Edit and update one project

  1. In Onvio Center select Projects.
  2. Select Edit next to a client in the list.
  3. Make changes and select Save.

Projects list display options

You can change the display of your projects list to help you manage your projects.

Your display and grouping selections will remain in place when you navigate to another screen or log out of Onvio.

  • Change project status:

    Select the arrow in the project Status column to update its status.

  • Group projects:
    1. Select the Show Group Panel button to open the grouping area.
    2. Drag column headings to the area to the grouping area to group projects by status, primary staff, current due date, or other criteria.

    Note: Firm Management Advanced users will see this option when they select the Projects-only view or Tasks-only view. Grouping is not available in the All All button selected view option.

Edit and update multiple projects

You can change some general information for multiple projects at once.

If your firm has Onvio Firm Management Advanced license, you'll have access to tasks as well. Keep in mind that you cannot select projects and tasks at the same time for editing.

  1. In Onvio Center select Projects.
  2. Mark the checkboxes to select multiple projects in the list.
  3. Select Edit .
  4. Select Next to change general information for projects.
  5. Make changes and select if you need to undo any changes. Select Next to review them.
  6. Select Show Details to see more information or to remove a selection from the list of items you're editing.
  7. Select Done to save your changes, or select Previous to go to back to the last step. Select Cancel to undo all changes and go back to the projects list page.
