Onvio mobile apps

Onvio mobile apps are available as free downloads for Apple and Android devices. They offer you and your clients on-the-go access to your firm's Onvio services and content. You can locate all Onvio mobile apps in the App Store or in the Google Play store by searching on Onvio.

Notes

  • You can download Onvio mobile apps to Apple devices that run iOS 13.0 or higher and to Android devices that run Android OS 5.0 or higher.
  • Refer your clients to Client Center mobile app for download instructions and app features.

Onvio Documents staff mobile app

The Onvio Documents mobile app provides you and your staff with access to documents. It allows you to do the following.

  • Edit files from within the Onvio Documents mobile app in the files' native Microsoft programs, such as Excel.
  • Save documents from other apps to the Documents area using the Send or Share feature of your Apple or Android device.
  • Scan and upload documents using the camera on your mobile device.
  • Send documents directly from your device to other parties, such as banks, clients, and financial advisors.
  • View all documents that are available to you, in the Documents area.

Client Center mobile app

The Client Center mobile app enables your clients to do the following.


Manage documents

  • Edit files from within the Client Center mobile app in the files' native Microsoft programs, such as Excel.
  • Save documents from other apps to Client Center using the Send or Share feature of your Apple or Android device.
  • Scan and upload documents using the cameras on their mobile devices.
  • Send documents directly from their devices to other parties, such as banks, clients, and financial advisors.
  • View in real-time the documents you've shared with them through the Onvio mobile app or through Onvio applications.

Perform tasks generated in UltraTax CS

E-sign tasks

  • When your firm assembles documents or actionable items and sends them to Client Center, these items appear as E-Sign Documents on the client's to-do list.
  • As they complete each E-sign task, your firm is notified.

Web Organizer

  1. First, the client must update and verify their household information. Once that information is marked complete, the Web Organizer becomes available on their to-do list.
  2. Complete the items that are applicable to them (e.g., received W-2, changed jobs, was a full-time student.
  3. Once lifestyle and employment items are marked complete, their to-do list is populated with new tasks based on completed organizer items.
  4. As the client completes each organizer task, your firm is notified.

Upload tasks

  • Tasks are added, based on Web Organizer answers.
  • Clients can upload documents directly to a task.
  • General upload tasks have steps that can be removed, marked complete, or marked Does Not Apply (with a comment). The steps can be marked complete at any time, with or without documents attached to them.
  • As the client completes each task, your firm is notified.
  • Each step allows them to take other actions and view additional information.

Notes

  • If any of your clients accidentally download an Onvio mobile application that’s designed for use by staff members, they will receive the following message: “Your account does not have permission to access. Contact your Onvio administrator to request access.”
  • Thomson Reuters develops mobile applications and software for professional use. Onvio mobile apps are rated 17+ on the Apple App Store because the mobile app’s privacy policy opens in your mobile device’s internet browser.
