Set up permission groups for Onvio Advisory

To gain access to Onvio Advisory, you must have at least one Permission Group created and the staff who will access it will need to be added to that Permission Group.

Create 

  1. While logged in to Onvio Center as the Onvio Firm Administrator, select Setup.
  2. Choose Permission Groups.
  3. Select Add.
  4. Enter a Name and Description.

    Note: We suggest Admin for the Name and Admin for the Description.

  5. Select NEXT.
  6. Select the applications this Permission Group should have access to and what they're allowed to do within each application. We suggest the following settings:
    • For Onvio Setup, select the EVERYTHING button.
    • For Advisory, select the ENABLE button.
    • For Documents, select the EVERYTHING button.
  7. Select NEXT.
  8. On the Data screen, make no changes and select NEXT.
  9. Select Add and mark the checkbox next to each person who should have access to your content in Onvio Advisory.
  10. Select ADD MEMBERS.
  11. Select DONE.

For your new Permission Group privileges to take effect, you need to close Onvio and login again.

Edit

To edit an existing Permission Group: 

  1. While logged in to Onvio Center as the Onvio Firm Administrator, select Setup.
  2. Choose Permission Groups.
  3. Select the name of the Permission Group you want to edit.
  4. Select NEXT to progress through the screens and make changes as needed for Name and Description, Functionality, Data, and Group Members. 
  5. Select DONE to finalize your changes.
