Disable multi-factor authentication
We recommend that you use multi-factor authentication to provide the highest level of security for your login. However, if your firm has made multi-factor authentication optional, you can follow these steps to disable it for your login.
- Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, then click the View Profile link.
- Click the Authenticator tab.
- Click the Remove icon.
- Enter your password and click Confirm Password.
Disconnecting your paired device does not immediately disable multi-factor authentication if you have recently requested a temporary, 24-hour code. You must continue to enter that code to log in to Onvio until it expires.
With multi-factor authentication disabled, you will no longer need to verify your login.
Note: To enable multi-factor authentication again, follow steps 1 and 2 above and then click the Add Option link. Then, enter your password and follow the setup instructions to configure multi-factor authentication, which require you to download and install the Thomson Reuters Authenticator app or a third-party TOTP-compliant app to your mobile device.
