Disable multi-factor authentication
We recommend that you use multi-factor authentication to provide the highest level of security for your login. However, if your accountant has made multi-factor authentication optional, you can follow these steps to disable it for your login by removing associated devices.
- Click your name in the upper-right corner of the screen, then click Edit Profile.
- Click the Multi-factor Authentication tab.
- Click the Remove icon.
- Enter your password and click Confirm Password.
With multi-factor authentication disabled, you will no longer need to verify your login.
Note: To enable multi-factor authentication again, follow steps 1 and 2 above and then click the Add Option link. Then, enter your password and follow the setup instructions to configure multi-factor authentication, which require you to download and install the Thomson Reuters Authenticator app or a third-party TOTP-compliant app to your mobile device.
